in South Sacramento County at Noon (see schedule), pot luck BBQ. Bring the family with your
items to BBQ and a pot luck side dish or desert. We will meet indoors if A/C is required.
Address is 11527 Lacey Road, Galt, south of Elk Grove, north of Twin Cities Rd, and east of
CA-99, as follows: CA-99 Exit 280, Arno Rd which goes east and turns several times over 5 miles.
Turn south on Lacey Rd, address is on the left. We will be on the MVRC repeaters. Schedule -
Arrive Noon for Marc's coax project, no later than 1:30 for meeting and annual election.

Contact Ken, KC6JSV, 916-723-3796.| The 2nd annual Sacramento Valley Ham Picnic will be held on Saturday September 13, 2003, 11:00 AM at Gibson Ranch Park, Group Site 1A, Elverta. Go west 0.7 mi. on Elverta Rd. from Watt Ave. in Antelope, then turn right into the Park. An entrance fee is require for each vehicle. - - The sponsors are the North Hills Radio Club, River City ARCS, and Mt. Vaca Radio Club. Each club is having a slightly different food arrangement for their members and families, but Hams and their families not belonging to any of these clubs are welcome too. - - North Hills members will have a potluck with the club furnishing hot dogs and soft drinks. Mt Vaca members and unaffiliated Hams should each bring their own lunch, or arrange lunch among their friends. Everyone should bring tables and chairs for dining. | Two starting points: Most of us will meet
at the front of the Sam's Club parking lot on the right side of Sunrise Blvd.,
just south of Hwy 50 and Folsom Blvd. Departure will be promptly at 9 AM unless
you are on the air and on your way.
If that start would be backtracking for you: Meet at 10 AM at the front of the Kmart parking lot on Hwy 88 at Martell (better repeater coverage than Jackson). Departure may be earlier if everyone is there and accounted for on the air. |
