| 440 MHz? | Most area 440 Ham repeaters are off due to government use. The following is about replacement 900 MHz operating and changing our 440 repeater to GMRS. |

| 900 MHz? | Some local 440 FM Ham activity is now on 900 MHz FM. Interested MVRC members started using the open WV6F 900 MHz repeater listed above in 2011. |
| GMRS? | In 2008 the MVRC 440 repeater changed to GMRS for a trial, with light use.
GMRS licensees/families may use it. It is temporarily off, but a substitute is listed.
Simplex GMRS frequency/tone above are also stated for typical bubble-pack HT (chan)/(tone). MVRC & SHARP repeaters use FCC approved radios. |
