Ben WA6NIK gave a treasurer's report of $3055.91 Shayne N6SPE reported on support of the Willett Fun Run event. Gary WA6TQJ reported on the UC Davis repeater. It's on 146.925 - 203.5 PL. New Motorola repeater is on order. Current repeater doesn't cover Sacramento too well. Discussion of possible Echolink to 146.91 W6AK. Twenty people checked into the last weekly net, held Mondays at 1230. UCD is working on putting together a license class and a getting started class. Greg KG6SJT reported that due to lack of interest, YARS will not be sponsoring a Field Day event. Dave KC6YFG is preparing for the Davis Double Century bike ride on May 16. Needs an op for Guinda. Pre-ride meeting is Thursday May 14, 1900 hrs behind Davis City Hall. Bill K6KN shared his adventures in Australia. Learned that his Yaesu power supply isn't 220V ready. Managed to get up and running and checked into a few nets, worked a little HF, and checked into YARS net via Echolink.
