Meeting opened by President Rick Littlefield N6KLB at 1930 hrs.

Rick N6KLB welcomed everyone and self introductions were done.

Shayne N6SPE read back key points from the October minutes.
No corrections or objections were offered.

No old business, no new business.

Rick N6KLB told us about upcoming events. Lake Oroville Endurance Ride is this weekend.
He will report on that at the next meeting. California Internationl Marathon is the
first weekend in December; North Hills Radio Club is involved in this.

Bill K6KN gave us a report on the Boy Scout march to the Capitol on Saturday October 24.
The rented VHF radios were the best comms for this event. Ham radio played a minor role
due to the structure of the event. There was an HF station set up, and many kids got the
chance to talk on that.

Robert KC6UDS and Dave KC6YFG reported on the Foxy's Fall Century bike ride.
It went smoothly and finished early.

A visitor, Paul AA6B, introduced himself further.

Business portion of meeting completed at 2000 hrs.

Next month Bill K6KN will make a presentation on the Desecheo Island DXpedition.

Bob Hewitt K6HEW presented on crossband repeaters.

Meeting closed.
