Introductions Treasurer Ben Norman WA6NIK reported the club balance at $3,794.91 as of 7 June 2011. The club paid Robert Schulz KC6UDS $150 for a power supply to replace the water damaged one that powered the W6YAR digipeater on Mt. Vaca. Shayne Hughes N6SPE reported the minutes of the May meeting that he took when Secretary Dave Nishikawa KC6YFG was absent. The Davis Double Century Ride report was given by written report to ARRL Sacramento Valley Section news and verbally by various members who participated. Gary Matteson WA6TQJ reported on the Field Day budget. Approximately $700 will be needed, Yolo ARES and YARS were each asked to contribute $200, with the rest to be made up by collecting $10 from each attendee. After discussion, a motion to approve a contribution of $300, instead of the requested $200, was made by Rob Brunk N6KIX and seconded by Dave Simmons W6OT. Motion passed. Under old business, 2 antenna analyzers were to be demonstrated after club business was finished. Under new business, President Gary Matteson reported that the Princess Promenade Ride will be held on Sunday,2 October 2011 this year and that the ride organizer agreed to the suggested donation of $200. Updating the YARS email list was discussed and it was decided that persons on the current list would have to opt in to remain on the list. After the conclusion of club business, Tom Nelson W6EO demonstrated the Antenna Smith TZ900 and Wes Hardaker WS6Z demonstrated the Mini VNA Java version. Dave Simmons W6OT demonstrated the club's N3FJP logging software that is to be used at Field Day.
